UNDOOMED collects ZERO data. Everything happens on your device. Your privacy is sacred.
Introduction
At UNDOOMED, your privacy is not just important to us—it's fundamental to everything we do. Unlike most apps, we don't collect, store, transmit, or sell any of your personal data. Period.
This Privacy Policy explains our approach to privacy and the limited permissions we require to provide you with a fully functional, privacy-first experience. By using UNDOOMED, you can be confident that your data stays on your device and nowhere else.
What Data We DON'T Collect
We want to be crystal clear about what we don't collect. UNDOOMED does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Usage data (which apps you use, when you use them, how long you use them)
- Device information (device model, operating system version, unique identifiers)
- Location data (GPS coordinates, IP address, approximate location)
- Browsing history or content you view on other apps
- Screen recordings or screenshots
- Any analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic data
We mean it: ZERO data collection. Your digital life is yours and yours alone.
Local Storage Only
UNDOOMED stores all settings and preferences locally on your device. This includes:
- Your blocking preferences (which features you've chosen to block)
- Time limit settings and schedules
- Parental lock password (encrypted and stored only on your device)
- Your Clarity Score and usage statistics (calculated and stored locally)
This data never leaves your device. It's not synced to the cloud, shared with third parties, or accessible to us. If you uninstall UNDOOMED, all this data is permanently deleted from your device.
No Tracking or Analytics
Many apps use third-party analytics services to track user behavior. UNDOOMED does not. We don't use:
- Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any analytics platforms
- Advertising identifiers or tracking pixels
- Crash reporting services (Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)
- A/B testing or user behavior tracking tools
We build UNDOOMED based on user feedback and feature requests, not by spying on your usage patterns. Your privacy is more important to us than data-driven optimization.
App Permissions Explained
UNDOOMED requires certain device permissions to function. Here's exactly what we request and why:
Accessibility Services (Android)
Required to detect which apps you're using and overlay visual filters on blocked content. This permission is only used to apply your blocking preferences locally on your device. We do not collect or transmit any data accessed through this permission.
Screen Overlay (iOS & Android)
Allows UNDOOMED to display blocking overlays on top of distracting content in social media apps. This permission does not grant us access to view or record what's underneath the overlay.
Notifications (Optional)
Used to send you local reminders when you exceed your time limits. These notifications are generated locally on your device and do not involve any data transmission.
All permissions are used exclusively for the core functionality of UNDOOMED. We do not use them to collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
Third-Party Services
UNDOOMED does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs that could collect your data. We don't use:
Your data stays on your device, always. No exceptions.
Children's Privacy
UNDOOMED is safe for users of all ages. Because we don't collect any personal information, we comply with children's privacy regulations including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR requirements for minors. Parents can confidently use UNDOOMED's parental lock feature knowing that no data about their children is collected or stored by us.
Your Privacy Rights
Because we don't collect any data about you, there's no data to access, delete, or export. However, you have complete control over your local data:
- You can reset all settings in the app at any time
- You can delete your local data by uninstalling the app
- You can revoke app permissions through your device settings
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated 'Last updated' date. We will never change our core commitment to zero data collection.
