UNDOOMED exists to help people reclaim their time and attention from social media doomscrolling. We believe technology should serve humans, not exploit them.
Our mission is simple: give people the tools they need to use social media intentionally, without falling into the infinite scroll trap designed to maximize engagement at the cost of your wellbeing.
The Story
UNDOOMED was created by Sévag Willemot out of personal frustration with the addictive nature of modern social media. As a solo developer, I saw students losing precious study hours to Instagram Reels and professionals sacrificing productivity to endless feeds.
I realized that the problem wasn't social media itself—it was the infinite scroll, the algorithmic feeds, the features specifically engineered to keep you scrolling. People didn't want to quit social media entirely; they just wanted to use it without losing control.
So I built UNDOOMED: a tool that surgically removes the addictive features while keeping the useful parts intact. No judgment, no guilt-tripping, just practical technology that respects your time and attention.
